Game Cultures

Examines games and highlights their importance and complex roles within contemporary culture. Grounded in cultural studies, this course explores what games say about the nature of identity, community, play, culture, and related topics. Students are encouraged to engage with a wide variety of games in this class. These games exemplify course issues. Prerequisites: KS100 or KS101 or BF199
